About Me

I’m an interior designer with a passion for creating spaces that feel thoughtful, functional, and personal. My approach is to understand how a space needs to work for the people using it, then bring together the right balance of layout, materials, colour, and detail.

Design That Begins With Understanding

For me, good interior design is not simply about making a space look beautiful. It starts with understanding the people, the purpose of the space, and how they want to experience it.

For me, good interior design is not simply about making a space look beautiful. It starts with understanding the people, the purpose of the space, and how they want to experience it. As an expert interior designer in Pakistan, I believe every project should balance beauty, functionality, and the identity of the people who use it.

Through The Modern Edit, my interior design and consultancy practice, I work on residential and commercial spaces, developing ideas from the initial concept through planning, material selection, visualisation, and the details that bring a space together.

My work is primarily focused on Lahore and Okara, Pakistan, while also being open to working with clients and projects internationally.

The Modern Edit

A Space For Ideas, Interiors, And Creative Expression.

The Modern Edit is the design practice I have created to bring my approach to interiors into one place. It is where I explore residential and commercial design, interior consultancy, visual concepts, materials, and the many details that shape how a space feels.

Based in Pakistan, I primarily work with clients in Lahore and Okara, creating interiors that are considered, practical, and personal. I also welcome opportunities to collaborate with clients and projects beyond Pakistan.

1. Purpose

Every space should begin with a reason.

2. Balance

Function, material and beauty should work together.

3. Identity

The final design should feel personal, not prescribed.

How I Think About Design

My design approach is centred around creating interiors that are practical as well as visually considered. I look at how people move through a space, what they need from it, and how the different elements can work together naturally.

From the overall layout to furniture, lighting, materials, and finishes, I like paying attention to the details that make a space feel complete. Whether it is a home, workplace, or commercial environment, the goal is to create something that feels right for the people who use it.

Interior design is at the centre of my work, but creativity has always extended beyond interiors. Alongside designing spaces, I also explore art through canvas work, painting, composition, colour, and texture.

I find that this creative practice naturally influences the way I approach interiors. It encourages me to experiment with colour, proportion, materials, and visual balance often allowing ideas from one discipline to inform another.

For me, design and art are not separate worlds. They are different ways of exploring how people experience a space.

How I Approach A Project

expert interior designer in Pakistan

01 — Understand

I start by understanding the space, its purpose, and the client’s requirements.

02 — Explore

I explore layouts, materials, colours, furniture, and visual directions to find the right concept.

03 — Develop

I refine the chosen direction through detailed planning and visualisation.

04 — Create

The final design brings the different elements together into a space that is functional, cohesive, and personal.
